Manx syndrome is terrible to live with. My cat has to be an outside cat because she can't hold her bowels

My Manx adopted me, she escaped for a neighborhood house fire. I fed her a couple of times and she never left, the previous family also told me to keep her since the elderly lady couldn't take care for her anymore. She is super sweet, sometimes a little too much. Anytime I'm doing something on the workbench she tries to "help" or she'll jump into my motorcycle panniers when I'm about to go on a ride. I wasn't a cat person before her.

Recently had a manx show up out of nowhere, just moved right into our garage. She was chipped and we reunited her with her owner. 12 miles away! We determined rhat she rode that distance in an engine compartment, as our neighbor works on cars. she appeared as he popped the hood. Her name isJasmine and she was ready to just start living with us, as if she was our cat. She was the sweetest thing. Microchips work!!!

I've had 11(several at once) manx so you could say I'm a little obsessed. My 1st was a black male named Jinx when I was 17. These are just the best cats so loyal and actually dog- like in a lot of ways.

I am not sure if I have a Manx cat as it has a long tail. But she keeps having litters with some kittens with no tail??? In your video it said if they have a long tail their mutated gene will not carry to their kittens though. A cat born with no tail is new to me. And it is not the male who would be Manx because be also ended up breading the other cat. Her kittens all had normal tails. P.S. also clearly looking into getting one spayed in the near future.
