About my cats types / characteristics:
**Tabby Cats:** The term “tabby” refers to a coat pattern rather than a specific breed of cat. Tabby cats are distinguished by their unique patterns, which can include stripes, swirls, spots, or even a classic “M” shape on their foreheads. This pattern can be found in a variety of cat breeds, such as the Domestic Shorthair, Maine Coon, and Abyssinian. The tabby pattern is a natural genetic trait and can appear in many colors, ranging from brown and gray to orange. It’s important to note that while the tabby pattern is common, it is not tied to any one breed.
**Tuxedo Cats:** Tuxedo cats are named for their striking black and white coat pattern, which resembles a formal tuxedo. Like the tabby pattern, the tuxedo pattern is not linked to a specific breed but can be seen in various breeds, including the Domestic Shorthair, Persian, and even the British Shorthair. This pattern typically features a black coat with white markings on the chest, paws, and sometimes the face, giving the cat a dapper appearance. The tuxedo pattern is simply a coloration, and it does not define the breed or personality of the cat.
Regardless of their breed or coat pattern, all cats and all animals deserve to be treated with kindness, love, and respect, as every life is valuable.
